MY DREAM IS TO LIVE ON THE BEACH

The Beach has always been a place of strength for me.When my life seemed at its lowest I discovered what a comfort the ocean can be to me, so I wrote a poem
The Strength Within Me
I walk on the beach all alone on this night
Wishing on a star above,that shines so bright
The waves are so soothing they bring me peace
For I don,t know how long I can go on like this
I listen to them whisper softly to me
That tomorrow another day will
be
A day filled with hope, full of joy and love
Something that can only come from The Good Lord Above
There is something mysterious about beeing here
It somehow gives me strength and makes my fears disapear
I let the sound of the waves carry me away
To what I believe now will be a better day
Away from the pain and the anger and hurt
That lives deep inside of me and I can't seem to curb
No one can see inside my heart
It's so full of pain it tears me apart
I make believe that everything is fine
I put on a smile that's not even mine
I come here to find what I need to survive
And that's the strength God, thru this place,provides
Here I know I am loved and not judged
Here I am beeing cared for by The Good Lord
The day now looks brighter as it comes to an end
I smile at the stars for I no longer have to pretend
I close my eyes because what I feel I don't have to see
This strength has always been inside of me
